New Legislation – Energy Performace Certificates (EPCs)

From 1st October 2008 a change in tenant will trigger the requirement for an EPC for all residential rental properties. Once obtained, the EPC lasts for 10 years.

Those with student tenants may find it beneficial to get their EPCs completed in the void period before their tenants return to start the academic year.
